Comments and Feedback from patients

These are some of the comments we have received from patients in the last few weeks -

"Having attended Litchdon Medical Centre for 7 years plus I have nothing but the highest opinion of their staff and medical services. Friendly, courteous, highly professional care at all times. You are in the safest hands if you are a patient at Litchdon."

"I must say how highly I regard the work of the Litchdon Patient Participation Group. And as patients, my wife and I believe strongly that the service provided by the Litchdon Practice is of the very highest standard. The care that the medical and support staff provide at the practice is commendable."

"I am very grateful for the wonderful help I have had from the surgery. Everyone who works here is always pleasant and so helpful and I want everyone to know how much I appreciates everything they have done for me."

"I commend every member of staff whom I have met at Litchdon.  Excellent service.  I also like the new concept of one person to speak to for making an appointment with the nurses"

"I do not like music playing in the waiting room, could there be a quiet corner with no music or people bring their own music to listen to" - We understand that music is not to everyone's taste, however we also hear from patients that they don't like to sit in silence and like some back ground music.  This is a difficult balance for us but we will look at the options for this and if we can have a quiet corner.

"The pages on the TV information board in the waiting room moves too quickly and the writing is quite small on some things" - We have slowed down the screen as much as we can and made the writing as large as possible - we hope this helps.

We may not always get it right all the time, so we appreciate feedback both good and not so good.  This allows us  give positive feedback to staff where appropriate and to look at areas that we need to improve.  You can give us feedback by talking to any member of staff, completing a feedback form in the practice, speaking or writing to the practice manager or by going to to leave a review on NHS choices.
